We offer 1-on-1 private driving lesson packages and we pick up and drop off students at home. If we do not pick up in your area then students come in and meet at a designated area, please check our areas we serve list.
We offer Private Driving Lessons, not a school-based Driver’s Education program which issues a senior license / Blue Card. Once Students have passed a NYS Road test they can always drive after 9pm from work, school sanctioned functions, or a religious function. Additionally most insurance companies will provide the same discount with our Completion Certificate of a 10 lesson package or higher. However, you will need to check check with your individual insurance carriers. Our lessons still maintain your Junior license driving status until the age of 18.
Please note that If you are looking to obtain a senior driving privilege also know as a Class D License at age 17, All private driving schools like us cannot issue an MV-285, students would have to take a Drivers Education Course through a school district that offers it.

New York State Department of Motor Vehicles regulations state that all permit drivers under the age of 18 require 50 hours of behind-the-wheel training before receiving a valid drivers license.
NYS Pre-Licensing Course
Stevens Driving School is now offering the NYS Pre-Licensing Course online via Zoom. Students with a valid NYS Learner’s Permit are now eligible to take the online course in preparation for their road test.
